Professional Focus

Dr. Jeanne Quivey is a radiation oncologist and an expert in the treatment of breast, head and neck cancer. She also researches the effects radiation therapy has on these conditions. Her work on this subject has been widely published. Quivey earned a medical degree and completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of California, San Francisco, where she served as chief resident. She joined the medical staff of UCSF Medical Center in 1974 and is a professor of clinical radiation oncology at UCSF.

Summary of Clinical Activities

As the senior full time attending physician on the head and neck, breast, and eye radiation oncology services, Dr. Quivey has been actively involved in the evaluation and treatment of patients on these services, and also acting as an in-house consultant for junior faculty on these services. In addition, because of a long interest, She has treated most thyroid cancer patients, and a substantial number of patients on pancreatic cancer treatment protocols.
