Professional Focus

Owen joined the USCF Department of Radiation Oncology as a Clinical Instructor in July 2016. He received his master’s degree in Medical Physics from the University of Pennsylvania where he later completed his residency in Therapeutic Medical Physics. Owen’s clinical interests focus on the systemization and standardization of external beam radiotherapy. He has translated this work to projects focused on improving radiotherapy access working in resource limited countries, a focus that follows his previous work in the Peace Corps as a physics and mathematics instructor.
