Dr. Joey Cheung joins us as Clinical Instructor in the Division of Medical Physics. He received his PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

We are saddened to inform you of the death of our colleague, Jean Pouliot, PhD, a Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Jean passed away December 27th 2015 at the age of 57 surrounded by family and friends, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Researchers at UC San Francisco are leading a five-year, $10 million research project dedicated to pediatric cancer, funded by the first grant of its kind to focus on a molecular pathway that underlies many cancers rather than on a cancer in a particular organ or tissue in the body.
