Meet Dr. Hsu

I am motivated by serving patients and their family

Dr. I-Chow “Joe” Hsu is an internationally recognized radiation oncologist with special expertise in HDR brachytherapy. Dr. Hsu has special research interests in the application of brachytherapy and hyperthermia in genitourinary and gynecologic malignancies. Dr. Hsu earned a medical degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. Dr. Hsu is board certified in radiation oncology and is a fellow of the American College of Radiology (ACR) and American Socieity for Radiotherapy (ASTRO). He is a professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco.
