Meet Dr. Seyedin

Dr. Steven Seyedin is a genitourinary radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers. He serves as the Medical Director of Genitourinary Radiation Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
Dr. Seyedin’s research focuses on integrating advanced technologies—such as stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)—with targeted and systemic therapies to improve outcomes for patients with genitourinary malignancies. He is the principal investigator on multiple clinical trials across genitourinary cancers, including NRG-GU008, NRG-GU012, and the PSMA-DC trial for stage IV prostate cancer. He is deeply committed to collaborative, translational research and works closely with other UCSF investigators to bring cutting-edge therapies from the laboratory to the clinic while expanding patient access to innovative clinical trials. His work has been published in JAMA Oncology, Frontiers in Oncology, and the International Journal of Radiation Oncology • Biology • Physics.
