Our Team

Dr. Nicholas Eustace, MD, PhD, is a radiation oncologist who specializes in the treatment of head and neck, skin, and thoracic malignancies. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of South Florida, where he also studied targeted therapy resistance mechanisms in lung cancer at the Moffitt Cancer Center. He received his MD and PhD degrees at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center, with his research focusing on the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and developing a peptide therapeutic for glioblastoma. He later completed his general surgery internship at the University of Washington in Seattle before his radiation oncology residency at the City of Hope Medical Center in Los Angeles. As a physician-scientist, Dr. Eustace focuses his research on making radiation therapy more effective for patients with head and neck and lung cancer, with a special interest in squamous cell cancers, and in reducing the long-term side effects of radiotherapy and their impact on patient quality of life.
