Professional Focus

Dr. Patricia (Penny) K. Sneed is a radiation oncologist with a special interest in the treatment of breast and brain cancer. She also researches new treatments for these conditions, specifically using the Gamma Knife. Dr. Sneed is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Fellowship in the American College of Radiology. She earned her medical degree from Stanford University and completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of California, San Francisco. She is a Professor in Residence in the department of Radiation Oncology at UCSF.
